Our shadowing and mentorship program pairs pre-clerkship students with internal medicine residents on Clinical Teaching Units (CTUs), offering a behind-the-scenes look at day-to-day patient care. Through bedside learning, students gain early clinical exposure, observe internal medicine in action, and build meaningful mentorship relationships with residents. It’s an invaluable opportunity to ask questions, develop confidence, and explore what a career in internal medicine truly looks like.
